Dan's interest in guitars originated in childhood, his family lived on a farm in Nebraska where music and guitar playing were a part of family get togethers. His mother and aunts all played. Dan and his friend played guitar together and started a band while still in high school. They played locally and then in 1961 headed for Denver.
Guitars I Have Refinished

In addition to the guitars I have built and restored I have also done hundreds of straight refinish jobs over nearly four decades. Here you see a Les Paul Custom which went from a sunburst to a goldtop with a black back and neck.
