Owned and operated by two professionally-trained luthiers, Lashof Violins is proud to offer many outstanding services to musicians in Maryland and the greater Washington, D.C. area. We offer affordable, professional repairs and restoration, instrument and bow appraisals, and instrument rentals for the beginning and advancing violinist, violist, and cellist.

Not all models are available for online rental; please call or come in for specific requests. A major credit card (or debit card with a major credit card symbol) is required for rental payments and must be presented in-store. The cardholder must be present at the time of rental; no exceptions. Gift cards will not be accepted in place of a major credit/debit card.

100% of your rental credit may be used toward the purchase of ANY in-stock rental instrument. You are not required to purchase the instrument you originally rented and may exchange your rental instrument for a different rental instrument at any time during your contract. If you wish to trade-up in quality beyond our rental program, 70% of your rental credit may be used toward the purchase of an upgrade instrument. As long as we have an instrument available in our rental stock which matches that amount, YES, YOU MAY!
