We buy, sell, trade, and repair all vintage guitars, amps, keyboards and more!

Our expert repair shop features quick, reasonably prices, and reliable service. Since we opened in 1998, Rivington Guitars has come to be known as "The Best Little Guitar Store in New York City, " and this is a reputation we have earned.

Rivington Guitars offers private guitar, bass guitar, piano, and general music instruction for all levels from beginning to advanced players. Our teachers are patient, knowledgeable, and they will teach you what you want to learn! If you want to learn a Nirvana song, a Stones song, or a Who song, they will teach you.

Rentals

We offer rentals on a case by case basis, starting at $100 / day and up, varying, based upon what guitars are available for rental. Please understand our inventory is constantly changing so we can't guarantee any rental until in store transaction.

Buy/Sell

At Rivington Guitars we buy and sell vintage guitars, amps, keyboards, pedals and all kinds of vintage gear. If you have a vintage guitar you'd like to sell please bring it in to the store weekdays between the hours of Noon-8pm. Please phone prior to coming in so we can know to expect you. If you are not in the vicinity of our store, please send detailed pictures of the item you are selling to Rivingtoninfo@gmail.com and we will get back to you promptly.Seller must have a proper and current picture identification when selling used gear.
