I called to have our piano tuned and took the first available appointment - April 1. When I mentioned that my piano major college student was coming home on Friday for spring break and needed to practice for her senior recital, Tony said, "Well, let me see if I can rearrange things and fit you in before she comes home" He called back later with an appointment on Thursday! I love that he took the time and effort to find a spot for me. We used them before and were pleased with the tuning service itself as well.

Purchasing the piano here was, quite simply, a joy. You walk through the old warehouse past pianos undergoing restoration and assembly to the completely refurbished or brand new models. You see the craftsmanship and care Alice (the owner) and her folks take at every step. They are in no hurry, and if you let them, they will tell you all about piano repair and the nuances of manufacturing. And play some wonderful pieces. They are that rare find: delightful, honest, and as good as their word. Got to love family businesses!

Brendan really went above and beyond in his knowledge of the product, hassle free salesmanship, and exceptional customer service. The whole experience shopping at Family Piano in downtown Waukegan was wonderful. I 'highly' recommend them being your first stop when shopping for a piano. I'd like to give a shout out to Family Piano and Brendan for helping me get my CA-79 Kawai, even with all the hard times due to the pandemic. Patience is key in this time. Right when it came in, the next day I went in, signed up for financing, and it got delivered about forty minutes later, and set up in 20 minutes. Very impressed with this company! And by the way the piano is beautiful! Thanks for giving 110%!

We had a great experience buying a piano at Family Piano. The staff was very knowledgeable and patiently took time to find a piano that fit our needs. We are first time buyers and they answered so many of our questions. They did not push us towards a specific model or a price point. Everyone in the company was also very kind and friendly.
