Sid Siff

I have dedicated my career to piano tuning, repair, and restoration since 1982. My expertise spans over four decades, during which Ive restored more than 100 pianos now used in recital halls, schools, and homes. I combine technical precision with a passion for preserving musical heritage, offering tailored services to residential and institutional clients. My workshop in Amherst, Massachusetts, serves as the foundation for everything from minor repairs to complete restorations. I prioritize personalized solutions, ensuring each piano achieves optimal performance. My journey began with hands-on training under industry veterans and evolved through roles as a head technician at Hampshire College and founder of Sid Siff Piano.

I approach every project with the same reverence I felt as a young apprentice, treating each instrument as a unique blend of art and engineering. Client satisfaction remains central to my practice, whether maintaining a beloved family heirloom or preparing a concert-ready piano. My commitment to quality and integrity has earned trust among local music schools, teachers, and private clients. I strive to bridge tradition and modernity, ensuring pianos endure as functional works of art for generations to come.
