Services
Piano Tuning
Regular tuning maintains proper pitch and sound quality by adjusting string tension. Our technicians account for seasonal humidity changes to maximize stability. We recommend annual tuning with Dampp-chaser system installation for optimal results.
Grand Regulation
Precision adjustments to grand piano action components improve touch response and tone production. This service optimizes mechanical efficiency for professional performance standards. Recommended for advanced players and concert instruments.
Dampp-chaser Installation
Professional installation of Dampp-chaser systems stabilizes internal piano humidity. This prevents tuning instability caused by seasonal wood expansion/contraction. Essential for maintaining consistent sound quality year-round in Massachusetts climate conditions.
Grand Action Rebuild
Comprehensive replacement of grand piano action components restores like-new performance. Includes hammer reshaping, key bushing replacement, and mechanical component upgrades. Transforms playability and tonal quality for aging instruments.
Pinblock Consolidation
Structural reinforcement of piano pinblock restores tuning stability without full rebuilding. This cost-effective solution addresses loose tuning pins while preserving existing components. Extends instrument life for moderately worn pianos.
