I took both of my son's saxophones in for repairs this week, and as always, he was very happy with the work Carl did on them. They always feel and play so well after being maintenanced at Carl's Pro Band. My daughter also gets her flutes and piccolo maintained at Carl's and has always been very happy with the work done on them. It's wonderful having a place you know you're instruments will be well taken care of! Shannon worked with us to find a service slot before our daughter heads back to college. As always great service. What a great group of people to work with!

Working musician here. Carl, Travis, and the rest of the team are some of the most professional and high quality technicians in the country. I have taken saxophones, clarinets, and flutes into the shop for many types of service--from the little stuff to more comprehensive readjustment, felt and cork work, cleaning, and pad work. After Carl's work, my horns feel like they are playing their absolute best.
Despite being different instruments, Carl's work has a consistent feel on each one: a very smooth, even, and in tune response across the horn, with the perfect balance between softness, resistance, and snappiness. No matter what kind of instrument, from basic/student level to very high end or vintage professional models, and everything in between, the care Carl has shown with everything I (and all my friends who also bring their stuff into Carl's) have brought to him could not be any better.
These folks know what they are doing. And not only are they extremely qualified, they are all wonderful, honest people who are a pleasure to work with. I can't recommend Carl's Pro Band nearly enough.

Just picked up my Schilke B6 and Schilke copper bell Flugelhorn. They were in for a cleaning and physical. I received expert advice on two small manitenance issues and a description of repair done on the flugel third valve trigger. I would not take my horns any place else. Carl and Travis and crew always provide expert advice and information gained through years of experience. My horns were used hard this last winter and i was glad to have Carl's take care of them.

Carl's is the best. I live 600 miles away from Bloomington, IL and this is still my preferred shop. They have been maintaining my professional horns for 15 years and I have brought in an assortment of saxophones and other instruments which they consistently bring back to life!
