He was a SAMICK piano dealer until 2017, and piano mover.

Roby's Piano Shop has sold several piano brands. Since 1985, SAMICK has been our choice for excellent design, tone, feel, looks, and long-term service in the home. SAMICK is a good mid-line, high quality piano at an affordable price. I strongly feel you should buy your piano from a trusted local piano technician not a distant source who cannot provide dealer back up and regular customer service. After 30+ successful years with SAMICK, I like SAMICK pianos and am biased.
Roby's has used pianos available from trade-ins and private purchases. The listings below are completed (or short lead time) pianos available in a few weeks. We also have used stock for major rebuilding we could prepare for future delivery. Usual terms are shop tuned and delivered to a first-floor location within a 1 hour radius from our shop.
Tom is a Registered Piano Technician (RPT) with the Piano Technicians Guild. That means he has passed examinations in tuning and repair skills, and adheres to the PTG code of Ethics. This means you can be more comfortable because he really does try to make his goal: skill, integrity, and service. In his prior incarnation, Tom was a mechanical engineer working for the Eveready flashlight plant in St. Albans, VT.
Sometimes whole-house approaches can work to stabilize the humidity. In our shop we use a dehumidifier to keep it below 65% (relative humidity) in the summer, and a whole-house humidifier to keep it above 35% in the winter. It gets stuffy and hot in the summer because I hate to open the windows and make the expensive dehumidifier run even more.
