I ordered a pedal from this company in December and have never received the pedal. I try to make contact but these people don't answer. The live Chat feature on their website doesn't even work. I have asked for a refund of my money but no answers. This company has the worst service I have ever seen. Don't use these people they are a ripoff.

I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and I plan to share my experience with everyone I can. The pedal that I ordered was shown in stock when I ordered but apparently that was a lie, totally deceptive business practice.

Avoid them. Ordered ADA GCS-6 but then had to cancel order, said it was no problem to cancel but then didn't refund me for two weeks, had to used PayPal buyer protection to get money back.

Same deal as everyone else. I bought a pedalboard form them on reverb.com, and after a week there's still no response to my messages, or a tracking number available. No one picks up their phone either. Avoid 'em

Wish I would have seen these Google reviews before I bought, or should I say tried to buy, from this shop. I placed my order on Reverb.com and so didn't bother looking them up on Google until my terrible experience. It's just like the other reviews say. I waited 12 days after I paid for an item with no tracking, NO communication at all, before I sent my first sincere and respectful message wondering what the status of my order was.

I was ignored. I waited 3 more days until I sent my next message wondering the same, still respectfully. After 16 days of NO ANSWER AT ALL I finally just canceled the order and requested a refund. I will give credit where it is due and say that they did refund me (at least on their end, not sure how long until I get access to it through my bank) within about 12 hours.but, if they responded to that message so quickly then they CERTAINLY received the other 2 messages and just couldn't be bothered. AVOID AT ALL COST. These people just don't give a s#@t.

I saw a great deal on a pedal I was having a hard time finding. The website looked legit so I went for it and ordered it. The next day I started checking out their reviews and they freaked me out. I started messaging the website and texting the provided # to see if it really was in stock. Teddy responded and was totally chill about it but I was still skeptical bcus of the terrible reviews.

Even after he told me he shipped it I was still skeptical. He provided a tracking number a few hours later and sure enough, I got the pedal. He sent it 2-day priority. Even after getting it I was skeptical until I was able to confirm the pedal was working perfectly. The pedal sounds amazing and I am a very happy customer. YMMV based on the reviews but I can say that I had no issues and couldn't have asked for a better transaction. Thanks Teddy!

Don't order online unless you like waiting and wondering. Zero communication after several inquiries related to my order. Pedal never arrived it's been 9 days and I'm still without pedal or cash Stay away

A long time ago, before paypal started purchase protection, I ordered a couple of guitar pedals but they never arrived. The customer rep gave replies to my emails but they never assured shipment.

Bought a Klon KTR a while ago from them. Very responsive to questions. Talked to them on then phone and got great feedback on when they expected to get it in and when it would ship.

This place is terrible. If I could give it 0 or negative stars I would. Ordered an item that turned out to be out of stock. Nobody ever told me I just had to call when the item did not ship. The issued a refund that didn't go through and I have been waiting 10+ days to get my money back. They never answer the phone. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

There is no such thing as a refund at this place. I received a defective item from Music Toyz via mail order a few years ago. I sent the item back within the required time frame but never received the refund. To get the money back, I disputed the charge on my credit card, but the store's owner Teddy knows that most credit card companies will side with the merchant in these complaints.

He waited for 3 months while the charge was in dispute, and then, since they couldn't contact him, they let him keep the money. I complained to the Better Business Bureau of Maine and got them to pressure him into eventually refunding my money. He sure dragged his feet, though. Any Better Business Bureau complaint is publicly displayed on their web site, and gives the merchant a chance to reply. Teddy pasted my full name and address into his replies, several times.

I had to raise another complaint to get my address taken off this public web site. This man is a scumbag, a liar and a thief. Skip the headache and go to tunnelvision.com, pedalgeek.com or proguitarshop.com.

I've been a long time customer of MusicToyz.com and have always held them in high esteem. However, at this point, I can no longer say I hold them in any esteem, and must warn anyone ordering online who wishes to either return an item or cancel an order, it will be a fight to get a refund. I placed two orders with them, one which I opted to return, and one which I opted to cancel prior to them even shipping it.

The return, shipped via FedEx was received and signed for, and I never heard a word from them about it, nor have I seen a refund. The canceled item, I received a response to my request for, with a promise of a refund as well as a promise that they would "investigate" the returned item. Since then, it has been close to 3 weeks and despite repeated messages to them, I've heard absolutely nothing back.

In short, their customer service is absolutely terrible. Promises made, and nothing delivered. I've now taken the next step of disputing the charges, as well as contacting the BBB and Maine attorney general. Great products, great prices, but terrible service. So if you order, I hope you don't have to deal with them. Go to Prymaxe Vintage or ProGuitarShop.com. Awesome people and the same products.
