The musician bug bit me when I was able to join school band in the 5th grade while living in Texas. Not having the money for any other instrument, I was able to scrape together the 2 bucks for a set of drumsticks by saving my milk money every day (milk was 3 cents a carton!) 2 years later, when the Beatles and the British Invasion hit, I tried to convince my Dad that a drum kit was in order, but it wasn't going to happen. It was the radio that connected me to the world outside the isolation of the Kansas farm town.

The Honey Hounds Report

The driving force behind the Honey Hounds is our fantastic rhythm section of Gary Whitehead and Dave Fiaccato. Gary Whitehead was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1952 and relocated to Los Angeles shortly thereafter. He was fortunate to be in the LA area during the 60's when the music scene was at it's peak.

I'm so glad this place is here. Cuz I don't like to go to Sam Ash but I'm going to need some guitar work done. I brought my guitar in but he just took care of a simple problem I had didn't charge me anything. I feel bad because he was going to sell me a battery but I told him I didn't need it I got home and I discovered the batteries I had are messed up LOL I should have just bought the battery from them that way he made some money and I would have had the battery but I did want to buy something else from him but he didn't have but I tried LOL but he's really awesome. And I don't know if he's going to appreciate the review because he seems to be busy and I don't know if he needs more work LOL

Fixed my Vox AC30C2 and was very helpful, kind, and easy to work with. He also gave me a lot of helpful advice to improve the sound and longevity of the tubes in the amp. All around just a great dude, I'd recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Birddog was acting more like a bulldog tearing away at some unusual problems haunting a couple of my favorite amps. Once he had his teeth clenched firmly on the job, he wouldn't let go until the job was done correctly.

Bird Dog replaced my dimarzio pickups with real vintage 57 Gibson for my 1966 ES335. I had put those on 42 years ago as a kid. He re-wired and did EXCELLENT work, but wait, He dressed my frets so well that an age old sharp A note on my G string is RESOLVED. The neck is perfect from end to end. The guitar is truly BACK. Thank you Bird Dog. Next up; the STRAT!

Worth the drive, bird dog brought my old amp back to life. It has so much warmth to it's tone that it never had before. On top of that man does an honest job for an honest rate, keep up the good work and keep on playin the blues.
