I have been selling Player Piano systems for over 40 years, and a lot has changed over time! The first player piano systems used rolls, then came floppy disks, and then CD. You needed a remote with those last two because you usually wanted to skip every third song. Now it has all changed! A Player Piano system that is wireless and plays from any ipad or smart phone.

The Pianocenter offers a whole range of top-notch services. There is a great selection of new and second-hand instruments to choose from, professional piano tuners, as well as piano rooms for rent. It is also perhaps the only place in Berlin that makes it possible to rent a piano on a monthly basis. The team is exceptionally friendly and always ready to offer competent advice.

I am consistently blown away by the level of friendliness, service, and thoughtfulness of Mr. Vordran, his wife, and his team. I cannot recommend them enough if you're in the market for a new or restored piano. I purchased a beautiful Kawai piano, and throughout the purchase, delivery, and complimentary tuning, his team were helpful, responsive, and made me feel at ease. Mr Vordran even went above and beyond by helping put me in touch with someone to transport my piano when I had to move. Thank you so much, and have a wonderful 2022

It's pretty much the only center in Berlin that offers flexible booking and a wide range of piano types to book from. Staff are friendly and pianos are of excellent quality. It's also interesting to see how they create the pianos. It a workshop/shop/renting facilities for pianos. The website is pretty bad on the phone and don't forget your password as they don't have a password reset button, other than that it's a good place to practice and the cost is quite reasonable.

Amazing service and incredibly professional people! I can only recommend. I had a very bad experience with another piano shop in Berlin previoulsy, and being a customer of Pianocenter makes a huge difference. I can only appreciate the support, service, transparency on prices and after sales help. Thank you very much!

After booking an hour of play in advance online we were greeted with a friendly smile the next Sunday. To our surprise we received an upgraded room once we found out that the one we ordered was out of service. Had a very nice experience with the host and we left with a positive impression about everything. Will definitely return.

I use the Pianocenter practice rooms regularly, and it is so great to have well-cared for pianos available for practice and lessons, in the centre of Berlin, at such a reasonable rate! The staff are friendly and helpful, the booking system is simple, all the users just do their practice and mind their own business. Highly recommended!

Excellent service! I've rented one of their piano studios here quite a few times. If I had any problems, they were very welcoming and were glad to help and insure me I got everything right. You book through their website and get a code sent to your email on the day of your booking, which you use for the lock on the door. The rooms are fair in size, and clean. The prices are also cheap, and they disinfect the pianoes every day. Next time I'm in Berlin and need a rehearsal room, I will surely book here again!

We rented out an upright piano from Pianocenter for a studio recording lately. Most importantly, the piano sounded great and was very well set-up. There was only a tiny bit of complication with the delivery but the shop owner personally called me to sort things out which was very much appreciated. They also have four super nice practice rooms and an online booking system. Excellent service, highly recommended!

I had a pretty bad experience with my email communications back and forth with Bob. I initially contacted him to see if he had interest in my Kawai grand piano (a mid '70's Kawai KG-5C), which I also had for sale locally. While the first communication was pretty standard (send me some pictures, I'll get back to you in a few days), I had to email again after the weekend to see if they had looked at the pictures to determine if it was a piano they were interested in.

Instead of a 'yes', 'no', or 'here's what we would give you for it', I was met with a series of odd emails that ranged from confusing to condescending. While I had the piano on Craigslist for a certain price (doing the best internet research I could do for comparable pianos of the same age and condition), Bob emailed me back to ask if that was the same piano he saw on Craigslist.

I said that it was, and he told me (sarcastically) that maybe I should go into the used piano business. What does that mean? Is that sarcasm? And that was the entirety of the email. Strange. Still without a price or indication of his desire or lack thereof of the piano, I emailed back and asked if he was interested. The answer I then got was 'no - I can buy those pianos for a fraction of that price.' That would have been nice to know earlier, as I offered them the piano before I ever posted it on Craigslist.

I would have let the piano go for the 'fraction of the price' that he mentioned if it was going to someone who would treat the piano well, but at this point in the conversation, I was pretty much done with BHA, or at least the owner. After emailing one last time about my displeasure of the unprofessional way the transaction was handled, I got no apology at all. Instead, I got a paragraph about how everyone tries to sell their pianos to him, and he can't even tell what they are worth without knowing many more details about the piano.

Which of course were never mentioned in the initial few emails. I definitely don't recommend doing business with Bob unless you enjoy being talked down to and treated like you are wasting his time. Not sure what the process of buying looks like at BHA, but selling is certainly not something I would recommend doing with them. I'll leave an extra star for a great selection of pianos though.

Top Experience! Very competent staff and a large variety of excellent pianos - it has been several years now that I am a Pianocenter's client and I continuously have been positively surprised about the sales process as well as the after sales experience (which is quite more important in the end). I highly recommend this team of quality, expertise and kindness!

Buying a piano, especially when you are looking for a mid-sized grand is scary. It has been a multi-year process for me located in Cleveland area. I have gone to so many but few stand out and those include BHA Piano Center. Their prices and the quality is solid as I did my own serious research into finding the right piano and prices. I found that Bob and everyone else were excellent with communicating with me and allowing time to answer my questions.

I refuse to go to Grave's in Columbus or Classic pianos after rude experience (also Graves is rather overpriced and the young man I worked with needs to learn how to talk to someone looking to buy something that costs $30,000+). But BHA, Kapp, and surprisingly, Steinway in Hudson are great to work with and will treat you right. I would be up at BHA finally making my decision if I lived closer and I keep getting to the point I think I know what I want and then anxiety.

I have been considering purchasing a player piano for the past few years. On a whim, my husband and I walked in to BHA to get an idea of pricing. They had two player pianos. One was a baby grand and the other a full grand. Both were beautiful with great sound. Although we left without making a purchase (only because I changed my mind), the guys there were great.

No pressure, they allowed me to use the iPad to "play"different songs without standing over my shoulder, but were available to answer any questions. They know their products very well down to every detail. The only reason for 4 stars is because their hours are somewhat limited. If I change my mind again, I will go there to purchase.

I went there based on some of the positive reviews and was quite disappointed at the gap in what I experienced. They seemed to have little to no interest in helping me find the right piano much less anything. I didn't spend 2 hours driving just to "look around" on my own. It's one thing to not be pushy, it's another thing to be disengaged.

For a purchase as big and personal as a grand piano, I'm going to look for a professional piano dealer who actually cares about the customer's needs and wants to make a sale.
