Services
If your piano has not been tuned for some time, it is quite likely that the instrument is below pitch overall. Pitch raising requires multiple passes; first rough passes to bring up the pitch, and then a finer pass to refine the tuning. The lower the starting pitch the more work this requires. What's a cent?
Q: How often should I have my piano tuned? A: Most manufacturers recommend that you have your piano tuned twice a year. We are in an area with dramatic seasonal changes. It is cold in the winter and dry from our furnaces. In the summer it is very hot and humid. It is this change in humidity and temperature that causes out pianos to go out of tune.
