Had a wonderful experience today! In hopes of finding a very-last minute violin with a carrying case, Alan's was the local spot that had one in stock! Called in and received great help, then drove down the hill, and within a handful of minutes, I had the violin and all of its accessories in hand & out the door! Alan's son Bob runs the store, with a very patient and keen approach to helping out beginners and professionals alike. They are sewn into the fabric of SD city and are a must visit for all aspiring musicians. They offer rent to own, instrument service and also classes for all levels and types.

I own an Alto Sax, and just took it there for servicing. Bob helped me out, and made me felt at ease to ask all the questions I needed to ask. No rush store, with its own parking and a wonderful ambience. this is also a great store for music teachers, with a variety of books and tools. 10/10 would recommend

Exceptional customer service. Me and my wife stopped by to look for a violin for my daughter. This was supposed to be one of many stops but it was such a great experience, not only did we purchase the violin, we are making it our family music shop. Knowledgeable, kind, and excellent pricing.
