Our shop is the only shop in Cincinnati that has a trained, three time award winning Violin Maker on staff to meet the individual's needs of our customers. The art of instrument making has been passed down since the mid 1500's. Great masters teach pupils, who then service long years in apprenticeship to learn their craft. There he spent three years teaching and directing in a music school in Honduras. When he returned to the U.S., Jerry attended the Chicago School of Violin Making and studied under Master Violin Maker Tschu Ho Lee, of the Kenneth Warren & Son shop.

Jerry has been the best violin maker to work with. He rented my first 3/4 to me back in 1998. He has taken care of my every acoustic need through high school, college, and my professional and community orchestra needs. He has been a lifelong treasure and been instrumental in the bedrock foundation that began my musical career for nearly 30 years.

Jerry did a phenomenal repair on my old Hoff violin. Also assisted me in chin rest and shoulder rest items, it really helped me out. Tip: for parking, it's easier to get in and out of parking (next to shop) if you use the Mason Montgomery Rd entrance behind Subway.

Jerry is a great guy. He repaired a violin that I had acquired broken with a fallen sound post and broken bridge. His charge was very reasonable and he looked for ways to save me money. The violin looks and sounds great.
