We offer month-to-month rentals for band, orchestra, and percussion instruments with no long-term commitment. Our program includes flutes, clarinets, trumpets, violins, cellos, and more. Renters can build equity toward ownership while enjoying professional maintenance and optional repair coverage.

Local instructors provide private lessons for piano, guitar, voice, band, and orchestra instruments in our 11 dedicated studios. All skill levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced musicians. Studios include digital pianos and music stands for student use.

Our onsite repair shop services student to professional instruments with certified technicians specializing in brass, woodwinds, and strings. Services include adjustments, pad replacements, bow rehairs, and dent removal. Free estimates available during business hours.

Optional repair plans cover normal wear-and-tear maintenance for rented instruments. Plans include 50% coverage for accidental damage repairs and discounted rates for non-covered repairs. Excludes consumables like reeds and strings.

We maintain Northern Colorado's largest sheet music selection for band, orchestra, and solo performers. Our inventory includes educational materials, performance pieces, and specialty arrangements across multiple genres and difficulty levels.

We're open Monday-Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday 10am-6pm, and Saturday 10am-5pm. The repair shop closes at 5pm daily.

I brought my upright bass needing a variety of minor repairs to Boomer Music on a recommendation from a friend. They were prompt in diagnosing the issues, and were very transparent both in pricing and in what needed immediate attention versus what could wait until later. Once the repairs were completed, they called to let me know, and advised that they found some further issues once they started digging in and that they took the extra time to get everything squared away.

When I went in to pick up the bass, I was expecting and prepared to pay more than the original estimate due to the extra labor, but they honored the original estimate, even though the extra labor should have more than doubled the cost. I'm grateful for the honesty and transparency, and will definitely use Boomer for all of my music-related needs in the future!

We have taken a violin and a viola in for service on a couple occasions. We have been very satisfied with prices, communication and cost for service. Boomer has fantastic and knowledgeable staff that can help you with any questions you might have.

Normally my go to shop for all things for the kid's band stuff, which says something because you are a good 40+ minute drive from where I live. Today I walked in there and was told I needed to wear a mask to be in the store. So I walked out. I understand they have the right to refuse service as they are a privately owned business. It's neither here nor there for me, but as my right, I will not wear a mask.

So I purchased my violin and bow and music on Amazon sitting in my car in your parking lot. That $$ could have been yours, now it goes towards making Jeff Bezos richer. Maybe when I need to come in to get it tuned you won't turn me away? Maybe I need to find a new store? I dunno.

This is a great place to get your music needs met! they have rentals and new instrument purchases. You can also get your instruments fixed up here as well. Lots of sheet music and all other kinds of music supplies. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Was a customer for years. My kids are grown now and no longer in need of their services but glad they were here when my kids were in music classes.

I had an excellent experience with Boomer Music. I ordered a rental for my grandson's summer band at the VERY last minute. I received a call soon after ordering stating she would have it ready to pick up in 25 minutes! I got there just as they were closing and an employee got my order for me before closing.
