As a grandmother who wanted to give my grandson, Jackson, additional support in his early musical exploration, I decided to seek lessons with Mountainside Music Academy. I can say that so far everything is going well for him. Jackson is really enjoying his weekly trombone lessons with Zoe. She seems easy to work with, communicates well with him and is really supportive and encouraging while challenging him to be more bold in his play.
He likes to do well so it's nice to see him pushing himself to improve, she seems to be motivating him. He smiles and seems really happy when he talks about his lessons. He has even played a few "concerts" for the family. So far we are very pleased with the experience, and it is wonderful to see him enjoying playing his trombone.

We cant recommend our teacher, Krescent, from Mountainside Music enough. There just arent words! Our son was brand new to signing and pretty nervous - but he wanted to try it so we took a chance. Krescent is such a high level instructor and could teach a pro! But, she treated our newbie with respect and care and made him feel so comfortable. He has come so far over the summer! Its just priceless to hear him singing not only around the house now but ON STAGE! Thank you Krescent and thank you Mountainside Music!

We have LOVED our experience with Mountainside music. Our 13 year old is thriving in guitar, and she looks forward to every lesson because she excited to learn new techniques. She had been teaching herself over the past few years off and on, but Now with teaching and new techniques she doesnt want to out the guitar down. Our teacher is Daniel Florez, who does a fantastic job of encouraging her and showing her new proper technique so that she can go further. We live in Lafayette, Co. 100% recommend!

Mountainside Music Academy it the BEST! My 9 year old started trumpet in her school band this year! We wanted her to feel confident and really get the most out of the experience, so we reached out to Mountainside to find a trumpet teacher who could come to our house in Westminster and teach. Mountainside Music responded quickly and got us set up with Darian and an initial lesson that fit our schedule right away. Darian is a great teacher and has been instrumental in boosting my child's confidence and keeping up that feeling of fun that is sometimes hard to bring to learning music.
We have a pretty complicated schedule, and Mountainside has been easy to schedule with, and is responsive and clear in their communication. We are very thankful to have found a great teacher and a great company to work with! I highly recommend both Darian and Mountainside Music Academy!

I cannot recommend Becca highly enough as a music instructor! She has been teaching our boys saxophone and piano for the past few months and we are so impressed with her professionalism and skill. Becca is always on-time for lessons and comes to our house, which is incredibly convenient for our busy family. Her warm and friendly demeanor immediately put our boys at ease and they have made amazing progress under her tutelage.

My daughters voice and piano teacher was outstanding. I love that she came to the house. So convenient! I dont think we could ever go back to going out for lessons. I especially loved that the approach to vocal training honored and preserved the uniqueness of my daughters voice, while expanding her range and control. She got kind and constructive feedback on her songwriting that always made her songs stronger.
What I loved best was the joyful laughter and positive emotions that were generated during lessons! Mountainside Music Academy was the foundation of a love for music making in my daughter. I am so grateful we stumbled upon them.
