We've been building custom basses and guitars in Sonoma County, California since 1977. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from Sonoma State University, I went to work for a prestigious bass and guitar manufacturer where I learned the craft of fine instrument design and construction.

In 2003 Tom developed the Halfling TM design with the aid of renowned bass player and nice friend Bobby Vega. The design is an exceptional blend of the Steel String/Classical guitar and the Archtop guitar that offers versatility, enhanced bass response and more feedback suppression.

Music to My Ears has an extensive team of instructors who teach different instruments to all ages. Here at our convenient location, students can buy their music books, enroll in ensemble classes, participate in recitals, rent band instruments and can purchase music accessories.
