From Ken: It began as a hobby in 1980. I would buy a old piano that needed work as cheap as I could, and refinish it, then restore it. I thought I could purchase old pianos and just make them play without refinishing them. The wood that they used to make them from was so wonderful, I couldn't aid but refinish them. Many times I spent more time refinishing them than I did repairing them.
