Very professional and accommodating from the initial phone call to the repair. Enjoyed my interactions with the team, fixed my immediate need and had good recommendations for future maintenance! My horn and I are very appreciative!

Ward-Brodt made renting an instrument for our child so easy! The instrument was in excellent condition and sounded beautiful. The staff was friendly and quick to respond. They are a great local business!

Went to sell my guitar and replace the sound peg on my violin. When I was selling my guitar we agreed upon 50 dollars. Part way through the transaction another coworker comes out and tells the one working with me that he has to buy the guitar for 25 not 50. I was annoyed because we had already agreed on fifty. But went on with it. Once that all was done I left my violin.

A week passed and I have not received any type of phone call for my violin or a check for the guitar. I was a bit concerned because the employee I was working with had to be reminded twice that I wanted my violin repaired not sold, so I called and told them I no longer wished for their services. Overall I'm not thrilled with my experience and would be hard pressed to go back.

I was introduced to this store through my sons Middle School band teacher. He was even able to set us up with an additional rental in short notice. Very friendly and accommodating.

Very helpful staff. Nice people. Had been to every musical instrument store in Madison that day looking for ukuleles for our three kids. Was about to head home disappointed when I thought I'd go ahead and give Ward-Brodt a shot. They had the best and most reasonable price on ukuleles for children that I'd seen that day. And for a reputable brand as well. Wish I had gone there first!

They have been friendly and have answered all my questions with patience. The purchasing process has been smooth and it's great to have the option to deliver to the school directly rather than driving an hour to grab the flute.

I bought an electric violin from here two weeks ago and the woman who helped me was phenomenal. She was extremely knowledgeable about the instrument and accessories needed to make sure I was fully set up to be able to play. She was kind and did not try to over sell anything to me and made me feel comfortable and confident in my purchase. Definitely would recommend

I just called inquiring about a piano and amp rental and let me tell you! They were so incredibly helpful! Noah answered all my questions and then some! He went out of his way to try and help me as best he could. Truly 10/10 would recommend!

Ward- Brody Music was very helpful in the pitching of a trumpet for my son. Kendra was very knowledgeable about the type of trumpet we were looking for and offered to have my son try a couple different ones. She was very friendly.

I've brought my daughter's rented violin in a few times to be repaired and they always complete the task quickly. They are very pleasant. This week we brought it in and there was a backlog, and we were told it could be a week before getting it back. I mentioned my daughter had a strings concert the next day but we could use a borrowed school violin. That night I received a text that it was finished so she could use it for her concert the next day. Delightful!

Likes: Cheaper than any other music store (got a band book here) and they have plenty of instruments. They also beat Heid Music by having a better percussion and wind departments, and they are nice to you! Dislikes: None!

Avoid at all costs! They have no concept whatsoever for customer service. I was bringing in an instrument to be serviced there and the person in front of me was picking up an instrument for their beginning student. The parent asked about lessons, and was VERY rudely told that they don't do that here. That is fine, but direct this parent in the right direction. Keeping kids interested in music should be important to a music store, but not to this joke of a store.

Certainly wasn't the first time I have seen or experienced rude customer service here. The only redeeming quality this place had was an amazing repair technician, so sadly passed away last year. Now, I attempt to avoid this god forsaken store like the plague.

I have now bought two instruments from there both from my daughter. They are very knowledgeable and their instruments and help you pick out exactly the right instrument for you and go above and beyond in helping you get everything that you need and understand everything that goes on with that instrument.
