They are always willing to help and to spend time explaining things without a heavy duty sales technique. Love this store!

Super knowledgeable and the staff is always super friendly. I've been in a band for 19 years and this has been my store of choice and will continue to be. Highly recommend!

I love tegelers, always enjoy going there when I need to. The staff and owners are very knowledgeable and if they don't have qhat you need, they will definitely find it and order for you.

Highly Recommend this music store. Don and his team are very knowledgeable and take time to share their experiences in order for us to choose the right gear. I have called Don on several occasions for tech support on pro audio I have purchased from him and graciously talks me through any issue I am experiencing. Most of the time it's operator error on my end! The new website is also very efficient as you can purchase equipment from the site and pick up at the store!

Tegeler's is a very comprehensive store for a small town. My understanding is that they do quite a bit to support local musicians and schools too.

Just wow, what can I say. Creepy vibe, guy at the desk spied on me around a corner like I was gonna put a drum kit in my pocket and run. They charged 9 bucks for a 5 dollar set of strings and the clerk literally belched and blew it in my face. Just wow. I will drive to Dubuque or Davenport for a music store even though I work in Clinton. Thought it would be nice to keep it with mom and pop, but even guitar center employees have manners. Yikes

One of the best music stores out there folks. Don is one of the most knowledgeable guys in the business. I hope you are around for years to come. Make sure to shop there. Support are brick and mortar stores so we don't loose them. Thanks again for everything Don.

I get amazing drumming lessons there once a week, and they have so many different things like instruments, music, and equipment to get you started and continue your passion with music. The staff their is also great at finding things best for you

Being new to Clinton, I was very excited to have a music store in such a small city. My first visit was awkward. I went to get my guitar neck fixed and got "yeah, we can probably do that, but you should take it somewhere else." as a response. Ok. Whatever. My next visit is the reason I will not be returning. My wife and I went in to look at guitar pedals. She's 25, I'm 24 and we definitely don't cut an imposing figure.

She was wearing a dress and a scarf and I was wearing a button down shirt. The cranky old woman who works there came out, turned up her nose at us, gave a curt hello and proceeded to treat us like we had already stolen something. She followed my wife back to the discount section to keep a stern eye on her as she looked through discount Christmas music.

As my wife got ready to check out, the woman called for reinforcements and wouldn't assist my wife until another employee came out. Never again. It was truly embarrassing. To the woman who "assisted" us, If you're worried about being around young people and their scary rock and roll music, maybe it's time for a new line of work? Perhaps something where we don't have to deal with you either.

You cost your business at least $100.00 that day alone, and much more in the future as I'm in the market for a new guitar and amplifiers. All of which I will be getting from Guitar Center as yet another shoddy mom and pop shop goes out of business in Clinton.
