Great place for sheet music. I live in the East and hard to find printed piano sheet music. They have a nice selection and the employees are very friendly.

Riverton Music and Keith are amazing! Keith saved my trombone! My slide was dinged, my crooks were leaking, my water key was leaking, and my case was damaged. Keith repaired my trombone that was above and beyond, and then some! Keith repaired my trombone slide, and case in just one day! Keith was so nice, and he also has taken such good care of me as his customer.

He does an outstanding, amazing job, and he takes so much pride in his work. In addition, Keith and the entire Riverton staff are so honest, and friendly. The don't overprice on repairs, like so many music stores do! They do the best job that one could ask for, and nobody can beat their prices!

We wanted to buy a piano so my kids and I could take lessons. We choose to go into Riverton Music and are so happy we did! Alan spent so much time explaining the difference in the various electric pianos and the technology behind why they sounded the way they did. He helped compare those to acoustic pianos so we could make the best decision for our family. There was absolutely no pressure from him to make a purchase. Music books seem to be reasonably priced. We will definitely come here again.

This place is run by a bunch of people that are unhappy with their lives. Take your business to somewhere else that will provide way better service.

Went shopping for a piano with my wife and the salespeople were very dismissive and rude. Recommendation: Learn to ask questions before assuming. Also, the selection was very limited for all instruments and piano books. Wasn't impressed with much. Pianos were super dusty. Story time: I've been playing piano for many years, definitely not a novice.

I know my wife and I look young, but salespeople shouldn't assume that means we can't afford a piano. We were seriously shopping for one. Just not from these people anymore. When playing the upright pianos, they just ignored us. As soon as I stepped over to a grand piano though, a salesperson quickly stopped me and said we should be looking at digital pianos instead.

Before asking us any questions, he assumed that was all our budget could afford. I'm also an experienced drummer and saw they had an e-kit on display, but not hooked up. I asked if I could demo it and a different salesperson said, "Well it's really not for beginners and there is a much more affordable option at a nearby store." Trash service. Discrimination due to age is a real thing.

Helpful staff. Especially the service staff. They know their stuff and helped my son avoid a bad deal for a used instrument. They also helped him find a great trombone teacher. They have fixed many types of instruments for us and I am always happy with the work that they do.

Very nice people and store. Can't give it 5 because no returns! That's tough compared gc and online. If your absolute when you buy your good. But if your a guitarist, often you won't know until you insert instrument or amp with personal equipment you're handpicked.

Riverton Music always has what I need. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I also love to use them for school instrument rentals for my kids. Their payment plans are easy and very affordable. I highly recommend Riverton Music, in Sandy.

As soon as we walked into the shop Alan was available to help us test out pianos. He was so helpful in pointing out the features of each piano. He wasn't a typical pushy salesmen and we felt like he genuinely wanted us to get the best deal and the best fit for us. The buying process was smooth and efficient. We were walking out the door with the piano we chose in less than ten minutes.

He told us about the amazing trade in policy they have. You can trade in your piano at anytime during five years and use the value to buy a new piano. We love this shop and will definitely be going back here for any music needs.

My experience at Riverton music was phenomenal. I worked with Stephen Kato. Stephen was extremely helpful in my search for my first grand piano. He asked very good questions and I could tell he really cared about helping find the instrument that was best for me. He was extremely knowledgeable on the anatomy of the piano and taught me a lot of things that I didn't know before visiting the store. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a piano to stop by and ask for Stephen.

Awesome place, guitar guy is cool at the sandy store. I bought a guitar from him because he was knowledgeable and help me learn a lot about the different ones. Will go again.

My second terrible interaction with this store. Upon entering, the man asked if he could help us. I told him we wanted to rent a cello. He exhaled noticeably, as though I was disturbing him. He did this a second time and I asked him if he wanted me to work with someone else.the interaction went downhill from there. I had a bad experience with them on my first rental, and thought I would give them a second chance.

I'm not a musician, but my son is.so I've been getting familiar with Riverton Music. We have taken a trumpet in for repair and have been very pleased with the results. The gentleman that does the repairs is very knowledgeable and good at what he does. We have bought a new trumpet as well as sheet music from the store and service has been fine. I have not had any problems getting what I'm looking for here. Good place for your music and instrument needs.

Nick was pretty rude over the phone, so I was a bit intimidated coming in the store - yep, rude. He sighed and ROLLED HIS EYES?! when I asked him for help. I've liked other staff members who work here in the past, so it's just a shame.

I went into the Sandy location looking to buy a shoulder rest for a violin. While I can't complain about the customer service, I also cannot give them a full endorsement. The sales lady answered all of my questions and added some information but promptly sat down at her desk and went back to her computer work. Generally, I am not bothered too much when the staff doesn't smile or go the extras to be nice (Guitar Center knows this) but what gets me is this. THEY DO NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY FOR RETURNED MERCHANDISE. Store credit only is what the girl at the counter told me. And only if you join their registered customer email list.

I bought a 50 dollar keyboard stand as a last minute Christmas gift. My family member used it and said it was very unsteady and difficult to play on. I took it back only to find out that they knew it was a bad stand but they would only give me in store credit. They didn't apologize or try to make it right in anyway. I would recommend not to go there.

Riverton Music has the nicest staff! They always have the best selection of sheet music. Definitely will be a customer for life.

This has been by far the worst experience of my life, my daughter needed a violin for school and since y live just literally just around the corner I thought it would be very convenient to go there. Worst mistake of my life, the staff are so naive when it comes to customer service, and I would like to think that the b*** behind the counter is the manager, since all the other employees had to ask her to do anything.

She is the worst human been. She is stupid and ignorant. I will never come back to that place again plus their prices are way to high. BTW don't even think about coming to this store Summerhays Music is way better
