Nice staff and a decent selection of music supplies and instruments for sale.

Disappointing Repair. Took my dad's old potato bug mandolin in for repair on the pic guard. It came back, weeks later, with a crude piece of thick plastic glued over it. No respect for the integrity and age of the instrument. I'd rather John had said he couldn't do it, then do a botch job. Then his wife was rude when I said something about the quality.

Previously did not have a good review, but I went in today and the staff was beyond helpful and thoughtful. Hopefully this is a continuing trend.

Couldn't get in the store without a mask. Have to take my busy online.

The last music store left standing in Coos Bay and there's a good reason for that.

I'm so sick of trying to guess their hours (the hours on here and the hours online are wrong) and when I go in trying to get to that guitar wall to try out guitars. There's always a cluster of people playing between me and the wall. In order to get to the wall I would either have had to break up a group of friends or ask the clerk to do it for me - I don't need it.

Why don't they just designate a playing area away from the guitars so people can get to them. I probably would have bought one last week when I went in. I went in with the intention of buying one.

Extremely helpful staff, even though they did not have a USB mic in stock, they helped me locate one for sale locally and contact the person selling it.

Always a pleasure doing business with John.the best thing about orcoast Is they take trade-ins and wheel and deal.sure you can find stuff Cheaper online, but I'll pay a couple extra bucks for the customer service.and not have to wait to get it!
