We were looking for a Yamaha U1 from the 80s. They have a bunch of them and all great quality! The people in the store are super nice and the owner is from Austria and very experienced with piano. The whole shopping was fast and pleasant. The deliver was included and we get our piano delivered just a week from the purchase date - really fast! In a month we also used the free tuning service with Dave. He mentioned the piano was in really good condition :

We had very good experience buying Yamaha U1 piano at Northwest Piano. We received excellent customer service. Cheri was friendly and very helpful in helping us pick our piano. We are very satisfied with both the experience and the piano.

My recent experience in Northwest Pianos was great. The manager and other staffs were friendly and accommodating. The after-sales service was also good. This is my second piano. If in the future I buy the third one, I will definitely go to Northwest Pianos.

Bought my Casio digital piano here and had a pleasant experience. show room is spacious and well stocked with many pianos, mostly upright and grand, very well-maintained and beautiful instruments. the digital selection is smaller and 100% Casio only, which I was skeptical of at first as i grew up playing Yamaha, but the one I bought surprised me in store by the sound quality, and have kept on bringing me joy as it plays really nicely. Oh, the life time trade-in policy is a definite plus.

We are very happy with our experience at Northwest Pianos. We came in looking for a baby grand for our new home, and Cheri matched us up with the perfect instrument from their showroom, based on our price range and sound quality. She coordinated a couple of small cosmetic repairs, after which the delivery to our home was very professional. We are also impressed by NW Pianos trade-up policy should we ever want to take advantage of that in the future.

Just visited this piano store for the first time to look for a piano for my daughter and I had a great experience, to say the least! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the selection of pianos was of high quality as well. I would highly recommend this store to all musicians looking to buy a new piano.

From the moment you enter Northwest Pianos and see the inventory of pianos that they have you will be transfixed. The customer service is incredible and they make the process fun and informative without being pushy or trying to push you outside your budget. I have been comparing a variety of pianos and have learned so much from the staff and always have an exciting feeling when I enter.

They have something for every budget and also the trade-up feature is a real selling point and I plan on taking advantage of that eventually. They are professional, kind and excited about sharing their passion for pianos and the music field in general. Happy New Year to Northwest Pianos!

We have enjoyed our piano shopping experience with the Northwest Pianos. Not only were the staff friendly and professional, they also offered really helpful insights when we were comparing between different options. We were super grateful to the help Nik and Cheri offered throughout our searching process. We would definitely recommend piano lovers to visit Northwest Pianos when they are in search of their next instruments.

My daughter has been in piano lessons for almost 10 months and we decided to switch from digital piano to the upright. We had zero knowledge about piano when we walked in here. What I really appreciate is that Cheri asked about our needs and my daughter's level, recommended several suitable pianos, and patiently waited for my 6 yo to try every piano with all the excitement, and kindly answered questions when we had one (we don't know the right questions to ask anyway). Cheri did not try to sell us anything expensive or use linguals that confuse us. It's quite a pleasant experience overall and we really enjoy our new piano at home!

We live in Southern California and we searched for a used Steinway grand for weeks and months. Finally, we found a consignment at Northwest Pianos that is a great fit. During COVID, it's not possible to visit. Cheri took a good amount of pictures and even recorded a video of a pianist playing the piano. Later she accommodated a technician we hired to inspect the piano beyond their store hours.

When it comes to price negotiations, the seller and we were quite far apart in the beginning. Thanks to Cheri's balanced talks to both parties and we finally agreed on a price. The store arranged a reputable mover to ship the piano all the way from WA to SoCal and we very much enjoy our piano today. We highly recommend Northwest Pianos and we would like to particularly thank Cheri and Angela for their customer service.

We just bought a great Casio digital piano yesterday from NW Pianos and it was a great experience overall. We came in with no prior homework done but both sales people on the floor were tremendously helpful. We walked out with a keyboard that our girls absolutely love. NW Pianos matched a slightly lower price on Amazon and offer an amazing lifetime trade-in service that made the purchase a no brainer. These guys are great, definitely check out if you're in the market for a piano of any kind.

Others have already commented on the wide selection offered here and that's very true of my recent experience. We arrived about an hour before closing with my 3 children (all under 6) in tow. Cheri was very gracious with her help answering questions and entertaining my 3 year old while I looked and played. I often find shopping with children to be a very hit or miss experience and Cheri really helped me out!

The purchase was incredibly easy and every step was communicated very clearly. The follow-up was wonderful. Our piano arrived 4 days after our purchase and the movers were great! Definitely recommend.

Absolutely 10/5 stars recommend this place if you are in the market to buy a piano, get piano lessons for you or your children, or even sell your piano! The salesman (and woman!) are SO friendly and knowledgeable! I have zero complaints! Even when busy, they make sure they take the time to meet your needs, and also take care of other customers without compromising service. I'm pretty sure they know everything about every piano ever and can answer your burning piano questions! We went to many places before we found what we wanted with Northwest pianos. Don't waste your time anywhere else! Trust me!

I bought an electric piano from here recently. The salesperson Terry was very helpful, not pushy at all, and gave me a run down on the differences between the ones they had in store. He was honest and said that, for me, the cheaper of the electric pianos was good enough, since I only wanted to play classical pieces and didn't want any of the extra bells and whistles.

He didn't try to up-sell me at all which is always nice in a salesperson. They also have a policy where you can come back later and trade in the piano you bought from them for a more expensive one, and receive a discount of however much it cost you originally.

Customer service. I called the store to ask questions about a piano not on their floor. The first question from the lady who answered the phone was to determine if I was inquiring/interested in the purchase of a piano. As soon as I told her no, she entertained my questions, gave me a less than interested and brief answer which clearly informed me that she was eager to get off the phone since I wasn't going to be a customer. So I closed the conversation and call.

A friend (who is an experienced piano teacher)recommended this piano shop to me three years ago when I just moved here. My daughter and I were thrilled by the varity, quantity and quality of their piano collections. The price is very competitive, service and warranty is great. On my recent visit with friends, I found they even have a Chinese speaking sales lady to help Asian customers. Very thoughtful. Denifitely will recommend NW Piano to friends and families.

This is my first review on Yelp. I have never written before because my English is not good. I decided to write a review because I had a great experience at Northwest Pianos! I was looking for Yamaha U-3 for my daughter. I visited another store and I found a cheaper U-3 there. After that, I visited Northwest Pianos with my daughter and met Terry. He was such a gentleman, he spend quite time to explain about the pianos.

I was impressed by his knowledge and love for the pianos. I could have chosen another cheaper piano, but I trusted Terry so much, I decided to buy U-3 he recommended most. On the day I bought it, it was already after 6pm. ( store closes at 6.) He didn't care about time and spend some time to finish all the paperworks. He also gave me a discount and a free tuning certificate!

My daughter and I have been playing this piano and we love it! It is like new condition and has really beautiful sound. I am truly happy I chose Northwest Pianos. I strongly recommend this store whoever interested buying a nice piano!

Had a really good Piano shopping experience at this store! They have an excellent selection of high end pianos, particularly pre-owned Steinways.(they have 15 Steinways). Thinking about buying the Steinway L they have. The salespeople are friendly and don't follow you around like the other stores. I don't feel pressured at all.

Out of the 3 Bellevue piano stores that we looked at, this store appeared to have the most extensive - and perhaps widest range of prices - of pianos. They had some used pianos starting at just $500 (which were pretty evident why they were at this price point) and others in the 10's of thousands of $. The thing that I appreciated the most about this location was that our salesperson, Terry, asked how we wanted to be helped.

He said that he was happy to leave us alone and answer questions as we had them or he could follow us around and talk to us about each of them. Nothing drives me out of a store faster than a pushy salesperson so I thought that this was awesome. We ended up buying a piano elsewhere because we found the same exact piano and model (and condition) at a different store for $1299 when it was listed here at about $3,000. However, there are some really good deals here - and a good selection. Worth checking out for sure.

These guys do an awesome job of refurbing and tuning pianos. Kenn has come out to work on my mom's and students' pianos several times, and they always sound great. They also offer free concerts at the shop!
