John Importuno Violin & Bow He was guided by both his grandfather, who trained his ear for a deep appreciation of music and by his father, who taught him how to work with tools and wood. He began performing music professionally at fifteen and at the same time, he was widely sought by local music stores to repair string instruments. I perform for a casino in Indiana and this exquisite instrument has put me on the map out here. The workmanship and attention to detail is exemplary. John got my colors and insignia absolutely perfect. Not a day goes by without one of my customers commenting on the beauty of this violin. The sound is amazing, especially for a violin that is acoustic as well as electric.

John with Importuno violins is the kindest, most knowledgeable, and skilled luthier anyone can ask for. With decades of experience, John will consult you on your string instrument needs and repair your instrument the right way the first time. I would never take my instruments anywhere else. He also offers an extensive variety of bows and custom made violins that he creates. I hope to own one of his works of art.
