Wanna go into a fantasy realm of instruments ranging from harps to accordions, to flutes and ocarinas? Lets throw guitars and amps in the mix and see what mayhem can transpire. Love this store to death.

Hobgoblin was beautiful, and felt like a tour of another era. Beautiful craftsmanship, old and new. I didn't see any hobgoblins. The dog may have been a very polite hobgoblin I'm disguise.

This actually is a loft in an old barn that has been converted into a performance/stage area. Very cozy atmosphere, fun place and the owners are always friendly. Would highly recommend that you give it a try for a new experience.

This is an excellent, eccentric, music center that also does theatrical productions. Stays nicely warm in the winter for the "barn" ambiance that it carries and the performers have always been at the upper end of offerings for the area.

I purchased an instrument at Hobgoblin Music in Red Wing, Minnesota. It is a Tony Dixon whistle. The sales person on the telephone was most helpful. He volunteered useful information and insights. My whistle was well packed for shipping. The whistle arrived in perfect condition. I am very happy. I look forward to doing business with Hobgoblin Music in the future.

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff are very helpful, but not pushy. There is a decent range in the price of many different instruments. The only question I have is how this place has evaded my radar for so long. Great for fans of medieval/renaissance music, as well as celtic/irish, and traditional folk/root music and bluegrass. And harps. They make their own harps.
