Took my fender stratocaster in for a setup and it came back mint. It feels like new again. Everything is adjusted perfectly and is in balance. The other best part is it took days not weeks and months. They have a dedicated tech Bobby with many years of experience. Highly recommend them they have earned my business and respect I will be bringing in my other guitars as well.

I have had the privilege of being a Guitars Etc. customer for over 20 years. During that time I have benefitted from the expertise, knowledge, and patience of Todd and his staff countless times. The music centered community that has been built there has been a mainstay in the Longmont area since they opened and truly embodies what a music store should be. Every time I have left Guitars Etc., I feel like I've left too soon. Guitars Etc. is a phenomenal local business that deserves the chance to earn your business.

Absolutely wonderful shop to work with. You can tell they have a passion for not only musical instruments, but also making sure their customers are happy! I purchased this beautiful guitar online and they had it out the door the next day, and in my hands in two! They will get my business in the future!

First I never ever write these reviews. Seeing as I'm here to do so today should indicate how good I feel doing business here. After a very defeating and disappointing experience at a guitar center a friend advised I come look for my first guitar at Guitars Etc. My experience working with Lewis at this store was the polar opposite. He took me upstairs and showed me several guitars, tuned them, played a very short piece so I could hear the instrument and then let me play and decide on a guitar.

I ended up finding my first guitar and will continue to shop here. After playing my new guitar I realized that there was some work needed on the fret ends. The store then took my instrument in made the necessary adjustments for me at no cost. Overall I truly recommend shopping here as I have only top notch service from their staff. -Mick

I bought an excellent guitar, a Tom Anderson, from Guitars Etc. They treated me right. I had a number of conversations with Todd and his staff, before and after the sale. Very friendly, fun, thoughtful experience.

The guys over at Guitar Ect are incredible. The staff is super friendly and easy to work with. Todd went above and beyond to get me what I needed. He answered every question and made sure I was well taken care of. This is a quality shop and if I ever need to buy another guitar I'm checking here first! Thanks you guys!

The guys at the shop were great. I expressed to them issues that I have had recently with past packages of music equipment not being delivered appropriately so the guys went ahead and delivered it to my door personally, that is great service and for anyone who is thinking about picking up an Ibanez Sound Gear 6 String Bass, don't even hesitate, pick it up because that's one of the instruments that I had dropped off today and I love it!

Best place in Colorado for instruments, instruction, rentals and repairs for musicians of all skill levels. A real "mom and pop " establishment. The staff and owner are, knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. The only place I go for my music needs. From novice to professional musician, they will have or get you what you need and their collection of electric and acoustic guitars is incredible!

This place is fantastic. I mostly stop in to check out the high end acoustics, especially Collings. They have the best selection hands down for Collings in the front range. The staff is always incredibly insightful and really willing to spend the time and spread a ton of good knowledge about what they carry. Zero pressure from a sales perspective as well.

They just really want you to find what's best for you and will make sure that happens even if you don't walk out with a guitar. The new remodel they did for the acoustic room is just absolutely incredible. It's gorgeous. You can't go wrong here. I appreciate this shop a ton! Highly recommend a trip to go see them.

Todd and the staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating! I bought a special order Fender Strat for my husband for his 50th birthday, and the transaction was amazingly easy and my husband loved it! Thanks for all your hard work in making it happen for him. I truly appreciate all of you and will always go back to Guitars Etc. for anything I need in the future!

We rented an instrument here for my daughter 4 years ago. Over that time their customer service has always met the mark. I appreciated their auto-pay/rent-to-own program. It was simple and straight forward. They always had what we needed in stock and were pleasant to work with in the store. We appreciated working with this "hometown" business and will keep coming back!

Buyer beware -- don't buy anything here unless you are 100% certain that you will not need to return it for a refund. We had an instrument out of the store for two days only, still in its sealed box, and Guitars Etc. would not refund our money. Their antiquated, customer un-friendly return policy is printed at the bottom of their receipts -- which of course is too little information too late, since you only get the receipt after you've already made the purchase.

This unfortunately is a perfect example of why the big box stores and Amazon are putting small businesses out of business. While Guitars Etc may argue that they can't take instruments back in case of damage, in fact, they will take them back and give you store credit. So the only aim of their "sucks-for-you" no refunds policy is to keep your money. So be absolutely certain that you won't need a refund before you buy here or better yet, go shop somewhere with a modern-day, customer-friendly return/refund policy.

This is my favorite guitar store in town. If you are going to splurge this is the place to do it! They literally have a massive selection of guitars Acoustic/Electric. I was particularly impressed with their selection of Jackson, Gretsch, Charvel & EVH Guitars. They had one of the LTD Ed EVH stacks. You never see these. The funny thing is, that the Etc in the name encapsulates a lot.

It is such an understatement. The store provides so much more for the community than guitars. Guitars Etc also specializes in band & orchestra rentals as well as practically anything else you could possibly want to create music at all levels. Truly a store to see if you are only in town for the day. You will be happy you found this place.

I was in the market for a new guitar for a little over a year and had been to various other stores, playing a variety of guitars. Neither the guitars I played, nor the experience of shopping for them ever spoke to me. Decided to check out Guitars Etc. on my lunch break one day and spoke with Todd. I was immediately made to feel comfortable asking questions, explaining what I was looking for and my price range. Todd allowed me to play a variety of guitars, explaining the pros and cons of each.

When I explained that I was only looking and wanted to take my time in making a decision he invited me back to play at any time. Over the course of 4 weeks I played a variety of guitars and finally decided on what I wanted. Although I've been playing for years I feel as though I'm still a novice and had been uncomfortable in some other stores, this didn't happen at Guitars Etc.

Never once over the course of those 4 weeks was I made to feel like I was wasting his time when coming in to talk, ask questions or play as I made up my mind. When the time came to make the purchase, Todd gave me a price that would be near impossible to beat, IMO. A very happy customer, who will be back! Thanks to Todd and his staff for a great guitar and buying experience!

I bought my first guitar here, and my daughters first guitar. we've bought 3 more in the last 4 years and Todd and Louis are like family. they're always so welcoming when we come in and always have something new and exciting to show us. I go in and visit 20 times for every time I make a purchase, but they're always still friendly and excited. my daughter did rock-camp this year and had an amazing time. what a terrific place!

Walked into guitars etc intending to purchase a guitar for my husband for valentines day on a dead monday morning with my small well-behaved dog. The guy up front said we dont allow dogs in are store. No welcome, no how can I help you and by the way she might have been a service dog. I said to him why not? I think he said something about policy. Anyway, I have bought 3 guitars for my husband and have gone into many guitar stores with dog in tow and no problem. Well bottom line they will not be getting my business or my husbands. By the way the hubby is a fantastic guitar player

We decided to purchase a guitar for our oldest daughter this past Christmas and did some research on the shops around the north Denver area. As my wife called around to research the brands and models available one store stood out among the rest - Guitars Etc. in Longmont. They all were polite, sincerely helpful, and honest in our quest to find the "right" guitar for our young Taylor Swift fan.

On my visit - Todd (the owner) greeted me at the door and spent the time necessary for me to choose the quality instrument I was looking for - little did I know that he was doing this after hours as the store was intending to close earlier that day. I must have spent more than 90 minutes asking questions, inspecting guitars, etc. never once was I rushed or steered toward their "special" to purchase.

My ignorance of the instrument was treated respectfully and they took the time to demonstrate the sound differences in the guitars I was looking at. Needless to say we purchased a nice acoustic guitar and were well taken care of throughout the process. We came back and purchased another electric guitar and amp for my young son and were treated with the same care as our original purchase.

As part of their Christmas purchase deal this year they included a month of lessons in a group setting with a rotating teaching staff allowing the class members to see the teaching style of each instructor. My kids picked their instructors through this program and signed up for individual lessons. I've learned much through the course of this purchase and highly recommend this store to anyone considering a new or used guitar.

They carry everything from inexpensive entry level guitars to high-end masterpieces costing thousands. The staff is knowledgeable and sincere and make you feel appreciated every time. Sure you could drop in and ask all the questions you want and then purchase online to save a couple of dollars but why would you when you get a quality team like those at Guitars Etc.

Oh I should mention - if you do drop in for the first time and you happen to be working with Todd ask him to demonstrate a guitar or amp for you and he'll take you down memory lane for those 80's rockers!

I've stopped in several times in the past two years I've lived here and picked up guitar gear and books. A few months ago I started taking lessons. There are several instructors for guitars and I've seen other instruments. The instructor I have is awesome. He's helpful and very positive during lessons. It didn't take long for Todd, the owner, to start greeting me by name.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. On customer service, when I said I wanted to pick up a couple of effects pedals, Todd did't point me to what he had. He wanted to know my price range and then volunteered to bring in a couple that would work for me. They have a good selection of books, mostly guitar but there are bass, drum, and piano books.

There is a fairly large selection of guitars both in diversity and number. They also have effects pedals, amps, mics, stands, and drum gear. Recently I came into a few bucks. After checking the Internet and friends that play, Todd let me try amps he has in the store. I checked the amp after getting home checking reviews and prices. Todd's price wasn't much more than prices on the 'net so the next day I stopped in and picked it up preferring to support my local businesses when possible.

I've been taking guitar lessons here for two years. We're fortunate to have this store in Longmont. They have a broad selection of instruments, many guitars to choose from and are great people to work with. I highly recommend guitars, etc as I've had great experiences in both shopping for guitars and taking lessons.

Guitars Etc. is a music store that has all things guitar, but the places sells other instruments too. Customer service is top notch - the staff is very knowledgeable, and if they don't have what you need, they'll get it for you. They offer music lessons with a roster of very talented instructors, and a waiting area with wifi for parents while they wait for their kids during lessons.
