I have been here a couple of times. Great service but the problem is their products. I bought a Pirastro gold E string here for a hefty price to find that not only a month later, all the gold plating came off. In addition, they fetched the string from a plastic tube, not the original casing. I also bought a bow here for more than $200. As soon as I took it to my private lesson, my teacher complained about it being a rip off. Also, a few months after purchasing the bow, the silver winding tarnished and so often left a nasty green color on my finger that I have had to cover it with duct tape. I will not be coming back here and do not recommend buying anything.

I recently had all of my violin strings replaced. Classic Bows was quick and fair priced. Greg was honest and helpful in advising me which strings to get. I will definitely be back when I need anything for my violin.

I have been visiting of this lovely violin shop for over 20 years. Greg's expertise and repair work are excellent. Lois is always pleasant and professional. I've told many of my friends to go to Classic Bows for their instrument needs and they are always pleased with the service that they receive.
