In 1979, Floyd Cannon started Cannon Pianos as a way to provide the passionate musicians and music teachers of California with high quality piano tuning and repair services. By 1980, the business had expanded to include piano rentals. Seeing more opportunity for growth in the area, we opened up our full service piano store, complete with a retail, rental and teaching space in 1982.

Mike from Cannon Pianos was excellent! It was easy to schedule an appointment an he arrived on time. He tuned our piano professionally and in a timely manner. The end cost was the price he quoted us, even though our piano required extra attention. I have recommended him to my family and friends and will be calling him for all my future piano tunings!

I thought I was going to get a run-around in search for a piano tune up/repair service here in San Bernardino. I decided to call. It was after 9pm and also, I wasn't sure if the company would provide the services I needed. Although it was after hours, surprisingly, Mike answered. I was embarrassed that I was calling so late since I expected to get an answering machine and leave a message.
I apologized for calling so late but felt less uncomfortable when he began to speak. He just listened asked a few questions. I explained the tune up/repair I needed and I already got an estimate. So relieved it wasn't going to cost so much. Mike assured me that with his over 40 years of experience he would be able to assist us. All we need is to let him know when.
The piano I have is one that I grew up with, and now my children will be taking lessons soon. I am glad to know that this company is still a company I can call and depend on. It's a company that is really there to help their clients. I really recommend this company because I already know, this company is reliable and I am so glad that it has someone like Mike, that you can trust. Very genuine!

This is the most professional family business I have ever seen! As a piano instructor, my relationship with Cannon Pianos goes back to when they were on Baseline near Sierra Way back in the 80's. They saw the handwriting on the wall and decided to move the store to south E street off of Orange Show road before the neighborhood got too bad. Because they also service pianos they don't hike up the price of the pianos they sell like most piano stores do that don't offer service.
They also have a win/win rent to own, no obligation to buy program, but if you do buy what you paid on the rental thus far will be applied to the purchase of the piano. Every quarter I will have a workshop with my students there and everyone has benefited. They also provide piano instruction as well. This has always been my first choice and should be yours too when it come to buying, renting or servicing a piano. They also come to your home and do tuning and will move your piano.
