Daniel came highly recommended and justly so. I arranged for tuning of my upright piano that had not been tuned in six years. Arranging the appointment was a snap. He was five minutes early for his appointment and was done in exactly the two hours he estimated it would take. His price was fair. He even repaired a few keys while doing the tuning.
Remember that we offer free phone consultations for buying and selling pianos. We are happy to help guide you in your search and answer any questions you might have about pianos. PLEASE give us as much information as possible when contacting us, like what kind of piano it is and when it was tuned last.

Daniel is a magician at making your piano sound beautiful. He has tuned our piano twice, after two moves, where we had different factors in the room affecting how it sounds. He uses digital tuning, but his ear is so fine-tuned after 40 years of working on pianos, he catches every little nuance of sound coming out of the instrument and in the room around it.

Our studio piano had some undesirable brassiness coming out of it, so he went way beyond tuning to fix that, working on the hammers, making changes in how the lid was positioned, and dampening the back. I hadn't realized how little we were playing it because it sounded so bad, so I'm excited to have our piano enjoyable to play again. Daniel is an expert at piano mechanics and an artist with the sound -- by far the best piano tuner in the bay area.
