Really nice piano store, they carry instruments from beginner rentals for children to fully professional lines. Good selection and a knowledgeable friendly staff who aren't going for the hard sell. Refreshing after shopping at stores in smaller markets. When controlling for the money saved getting the right instrument in the first place, I'd ship from Keyboard Concepts at least as far as the Mississippi, possibly all US for the right piece.

This store has gotten in some awesome Yamaha inventory, including the insanely great N3X. You cannot find these. And Izzy is a terrific sales consultant. Two months ago I mentioned I was looking for something good, and he kept track of that. His store received this piano and he personally called me to let me know. No pressure - just solid customer service.

Not only did Keyboard Concepts find the perfect piano for me at a very fair price, but after visiting the Fountain Valley store, the service after the sale was fantastic. I highly recommend them for buying a new or even used piano. I am enjoying the new Yamaha quite a lot!

Keyboard Concepts has a great selection and Todd spent lots of time with us showing us all the options. We settled on a digital piano that seems like a perfect fit for us.

Had a lovely experience here went out to their Sherman Oaks location to check out a piano they had in stock. Everyone was very helpful and they had a lovely selection of New & Used Pianos. Just a hint if you find something you like, buy it because their stock is constantly moving!

Just purchased a new u1 through Fred. I was nervous making such a big purchase because a piano is a long term commitment. I was really happy with Fred's patience and assistance. It took us a while to find the perfect piano for my son, and he had a positive attitude the entire time. Delivery was a breeze. I would purchase from this company again.

Thank you Adam and the Keyboard Concepts staff! They were very patient with my wife and me as we asked a ton of questions. Adam graciously demoed several different upright pianos for us, explaining the differences and what to look for. We ultimately settled for a new Yamaha P22, and they honored the full trade-in value for a piano my family purchased from them 15 years ago. Highly recommend! If you're in the greater SoCal area, don't go anywhere else.

I came into the shop to buy a bench and check out some pianos, and it was a great experience. The staff is friendly and professional as well as being very knowledgeable. Adam in particular was incredibly helpful. He spent about 20 minutes with me showing me various pianos and sharing his knowledge, despite knowing I wouldn't be able to buy anything for awhile. Piano shopping is intimidating, and the staff does a great job guiding you through it. I will definitely be back and would recommend this store to anyone!

We had a good experience. Fred was nice and everything was as expected. We had to push the delivery back twice and they were super accommodating.

Christine and Emma are outstanding at helping me source books for my piano students. Occasionally, they will be out of books that I need and the time it takes to get them in can be long, so I will order from Amazon. However, I greatly prefer to get these from this local business that has a great selection and is the best organized piano book store I've ever been to.

I purchased a Yamaha Clavinova CVP 805 from this store. Fred was very knowledgeable of all the instruments, both acoustic and digital, that they had in the showroom. He was very gentle and patient in helping me select the right instrument for my needs.

I don't recommend purchasing a piano from them, the price is almost double of what other places are selling pianos. There are many private businesses that offer awesome deals, don't go there.

Bought a Yamaha piano from here back in 2016. They matched Costco road show price and even included 2 free tunings within the first 2 years. Little over 2 years went by and I hadn't used my 2nd free tuning because we didn't use the piano much. After making several calls and an email to management, they honored the 2nd free tuning even though technically it already expired.

Good customer service, which is what all businesses should do these days to take care of their customers and these loyal customers will keep coming back and refer them more business.

Best place to buy piano! Great selections! Connor and Adam are the nicest people ever, they gave me good deal! Delivery was fast and reliable. First came to the store a week before thanksgiving, Connor was the first one to assist me, and he is a SUPER nice person! He wasn't pushy at all, unlike other places. But I was indecisive, so I went home and came back a week later during thanksgiving weekend.

That day, Adam, the store manager, was there and he also wasn't pushy at all. I was in the verge of deciding to purchase either a more expensive one or a slightly cheaper one. He didn't try to make me purchase the more expensive one at all. INSTEAD he made the cheaper one sounds as good as the more expensive one by playing cool songs on it for me.

And I ended up purchasing the cheaper one. And he gave me good deal too! They delivered it to me a week after, and I love the piano. It's beautiful. I came back to the store 2 days after to get a midi adapter for my Clavinova, and both Adam and Connor were there and gave me discount! and a free keys cover : These people are so nice, and they are also great musician. I love keyboard concepts, definitely coming back for my future purchase!

I don't know why this place received so many negative reviews, but based on my experience with Fred, they deserve better. I accidentally found this place on my way to Guitar Center to see some digital pianos and I'm glad I did. Fred showed me Yamaha digital pianos and answered all my questions diligently. They did not have the model I was interested in so when they received it in the store he contacted me so I could go see and buy it. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I came into the store looking for a piano for my wife but did not know anything about pianos. The manager, Todd really made a great impression by giving me a nice overview of grand pianos, how the inner workings laid out, and walked me through the different styles throughout the store. He spent close to an hour teaching me and this really helped me figure out what was the perfect piano for my wife.

He never once tried to up sell. In fact, I was deciding between a used and new piano of the same model and he said the used would be perfect for us even though it was $3k cheaper! Todd was very timely in responding to emails (many times within 10 minutes). The piano move went smoothly and my wife couldn't have been any happier!

The salesperson had no interest in us. Gave the price and a pained expression every time I asked a question. And, yes, he loudly said, "no AMEX" as if we were going to buy anything after experiencing his attitude! Hope others are better than this gentleman.

I have purchased 2 pianos from John in the course of 15 years. I also don't understand the negative reviews. Before you consider walking into a piano store, do a little bit of research. If you are a parent wanting your kid to take lessons, consider going through Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Letgo, and OfferUp. If your child decide this is something more serious, then go to Keyboard Concepts.

Understand that they are primarily a Yamaha dealer. I'm a fan of Yamaha pianos. Yamahas aren't expensive, but they are not as pricey as a Steinway. (Perhaps one day I'll have the money to own one.) Yamaha across the board are consistent pianos. They generally sound and feel very similar from one to the next. I first purchased a upright P22 from John back in 2001.

That piano got me through grad school auditions and all the way through grad school. Fast forward to 2007, I traded in my P22 (100% trade-in) back to John and got myself a C1 "toddler" grand. Fast forward to a couple of months ago. I was in need to find a new piano mover to move my piano from my old house to my new house. I wasn't happy with the recommendation my piano technician gave me.

So I walked into Keyboard Concepts, John was off that day and I was greeted with a very boisterous and friendly manager, Todd. I told him my situation, that I wasn't happy with the quote I got from the recommended piano mover. I also said while I'm here, might as well get a couple names for a new technician. He introduced me to Fred who gave me 2 local movers, and a few piano technicians contacts with no hesitation.

These guys have been nothing by professional. I recommend if you are going to shop for a piano, do some research, ask a piano professional what they recommend so you don't go into a piano store and come out feeling completely defeated.

Sales man Fred Kang was not very professional. Worst experience every. Don't try to educate customers based on your assumptions.

I am super shocked that there are so many negative reviews! My mom and I took my 15-year old son here today to experience all the brand new pianos he wanted to see in person. He has autism, as well as perfect pitch. The salesman, Fred, was awesome! Super patient with my son and so helpful! Answered all of my son's questions without a hint of irritation. Really, one of my son's best experiences at a piano store. I give them 5 stars.

What a nice place, beautiful show rooms, and gentle sales, I strongly recommend people who want to buy piano, just come and visit this place. sales Leigh Moore gives you exactly what you would have concerned. ( I am a father and I am willing to ask my son to start learning piano) And there is a "life trade-up" service, means when you want to change a high level piano, you can trade your old one of which value keeps the same as when you purchased it. Nice, Most parents consider about that your child will keep learning piano or will not. get a less expensive one first, here you can find a good deal!

I enjoyed my experience shopping at keyboard concepts. Joe helped me select a piano. He is very pleasant, smart and takes time to educate you while shopping to assure you make the right decision. I love my piano and Joe went extra steps to ensure I was happy with the purchase. Lastly he took some time to play and show me the features instead of just telling me to read the manual.he gave me some introductory! Fair enough! Happy shopper

I'm in the market to rent a piano for one year, and eventually purchase a new piano in 9-12 months. I drove 45 minutes to get to the Keyboard Concepts location in Fountain Valley because the salesperson at the Santa Monica location informed me that there was a piano at the Fountain Valley location that I should take a look at. What a mistake. Salesman Joe greeted us and showed us what we had come to see.

I decided to look around the store to see if there were other piano options. Mistake. Joe started to talk me into buying a new piano, despite him not knowing ANYTHING of what I was looking for. He even had the nerve to educate me that I've already spent 3 years on lessons for the kids and that money could have gone into buying a new piano. NO DUH?! Pompus, arrogant, pushy sales people at this location. Joe - you reminded me that you were a "starving musician" and that I needed to purchase a piano from you. You just lost a sale, buddy! HORRIBLE service here.
